Through friends, family and contacts within the local shooting community we have
secured the use of fabulous grounds to suit the requirements of all the gundog breeds.
There is woodland to work the spaniels and moorland to train the HPR’s and Retrievers,
as well as access to lakes and rivers. Having a wide range of environments means
we can train our dogs on the right terrain, as well as having some stunning views
of the Lakeland fells - so well worth bringing a camera along as well.
Joining any new club is always a nervous time but at Lakeland Gundog Club we pride
ourselves on being a friendly and welcoming club creating a relaxed environment in
which to train your dogs, and yourselves, whether you are a complete Beginner or
a potential Field Trialler.
